The manufactory

Black Forest Pen was founded by Roland Müller. He trained as a toolmaker from 1980 and then worked for a medical technology company for 20 years. During this time he was employed from skilled worker to production manager. He then took over the company and was self-employed for 12 years. During this time, ballpoint pens were designed and manufactured on a small scale as promotional gifts for his own customers and suppliers. After a total of 35 years in business, Roland Müller retired to private life and founded the small ballpoint pen manufactory in the Black Forest.

All writing instruments are only assembled once they have been ordered. This manufacturing process may result in waiting times.
